In Thunderbird, setting particular filter rules help in the sorting of E-mails. E-mails are automatically sorted under defined folders.
Can TBBackup save these rules?
Yes, if filter rules have been predefined in Thunderbird these settings are also saved along with the corresponding E-mail folders.
I have restored all my backed up E-mails folders. Why are they not displayed in Thunderbird?
In Thunderbird a folder is assigned to each E-mail account and all E-mails corresponding to this account are stored under this folder. This folder can be viewed under the Menu Extras/Accounts/...
For you to be able to view a folder in the folder structure, an account that saves its E-mails under this folder must exist. After the restoration, always make sure that there is an account that exists which stores all its E-mails under this folder.
